there's been a few posts asking about which wheels fit a 924S - here's a couple of options I've tried. Which one is best?

993 Cup

Design 90's

(these are from a 944S2, & the 8" rears run very close to the handbrake cables - I think a maximum of 7" is advisable)

The rear lower spoiler is going - Should I lose the Porsche decal as well?

They are both appealing. It depends on if you want to "update" the wheels or go with an "older" look I guess.

I think the cups are just too new looking for a 924, they are OK on a 993 or even a 964, but putting them on a 924 doesn't look right. I like the 90's on the 924, that looks good, I also like black fuchs for the ultimate 1980s look...

I like the 90's but I'd like to see them polished.

I think the cups look OK, but not spectacular.

And I definitely agree with the decision to loose that rear valance. Loose it and hope it stays lost.

Side decals look better on cars that have boxed rockers because the decal is lower and not interupted by the door openings.

All IMO of course.

I think the cups looked better on my red one - they look better in the metal than in pics.

the rear valence is bolted on - It'll have to wait until my bodyshop man can fit me in (I guess I can shift the spoiler on ebay when it's off )

The problem with design 90's is finding a set of 7's - most are either 6&8 or 7&8.

I also think boxster 16" rims might look good.

I agree with you there. They look PDG on that one. I like the S decal on that as well.

Nice stable you have going there BTW

These 17 x 7, 55 mm offset 993 wheels are my favorite:

I think 17's are just a little too much for the car (but it definitely looks better without a side decal)
