I just recently finished making my boot which took awhile, and am now thinking of replacing the carpeted piece with a piece of plexiglass with a layer of thin padding and the same vinyl/leather I used for the boot and maybe the armrest, has anyone done something similar and have any hints? I can't figure out how to get the sunroof switch out, or maybe I haven't looked hard enough. I'm just tired of the off-color carpet that won't stay down.
