Anyone have the carpet that goes around the shift boot?
Would like tan but if you have black or brown I could always dye it.
Send me an e-mail please.

Does anyone know why there is carpet there? I hate it and want to replace it with a flat leather piece _________________ 1987 924S Guards Red

It dresses the area up plus you do not have to dust it. That was one real nice thing about having a carpet cover for my dash. No dusting! Now I have the hard plastic style and have to dust it all the time!
Dough!
If anyone has one (carpet for around the shifter) please let me know.

if your having issues with dust sticking to vinyl , pick up a bottle of "formula 303" to dress your interior bits with (not for leather.) its expensive, at $20 a bottle, but well worth it.. no grease like armourall, uv protectant, and just awesome stuff.. it even "softened" the vynil wrapped dash in my truck, which had some sun drying..made it like new after a couple of treatments..and it doesnt attract the dust like the other products..dust will still settle on it, but its much easier to wipe off (no smearing) with a soft cloth... i dont have the link handy, but theyll send you a free sample off their website (little package the size of a wet wipe, but it was enough to convince me)..... just a really good product i now swear by.... _________________ Eric

| I actually cut myself a new one out a spare piece of carpet from my old 924 (it had the finished vinyl covered edge, I forget what part I used). I used the old one as a guide. It was really easy to do. The only thing it dosen't have are the small flaps that go under the frame but I have had no problems with it. |

Yeah I cut one also but it did not come out that great. So would like to get an original and use it instead.
I will check out that sample. Thanks
