Using same distributor. Just replaced trigger and control box. I now have a Crane Hi-6 control box with an optical trigger.

I replaced my points with a Petronix Ignitor in my '79. It's as easy to install as they claim which has to be a first. A real set and forget upgrade.

Well, you could go for DIS... way better..

Otherwise, take the distributor out of a 1977. Better curve.

I went to put in Pertronix II, but my Dist needs to be replaced. So now I am waiting for that to come in on mon or tues. I have replaced just about everything in the car now, what else... I do have a 77, but now I understand Bosch has discontinued that model. So now I just have to see what comes in.
