This just posted yesterday, the August Fastrack on scca.org (in the SCCA Garage section). Under the "new" items recommended by the Club Racing Board for review by the Board of Directors, as a proposed 2005 rule change, page F-160, the ITAC and CRB have recommended that the '77-82 924 be reclassed to ITB!

Not approved yet, but very likely to!

WOOHOO!!! Break out the bier!!!

I was doing my happy dance today at work. My co-wokers thought I had drank the purple kool-aid once again They told me to bring it down a notch or two.

I guess we better start to get our cars a little more legal before '05

I guess I better start to learn how to race competitively too instead of being a moving chicane. I've got the getting passed by faster cars thing down pat. I'm glad I took Vaughan's advice and purchased four "B" vinyl decals just in case.

It's now official, we're going to ITB! The Club Racing Board has also approved threaded-body shocks, meaning that while you still cannot use coilovers on the rear, you will onw be able to use the off-the-shelf Leda et al suspensions currently sold for the 944 and popular in PCA Club Racing.

Do you think they'll lett us put on our "B" decals to run in the enduro? Afterall where going to be in "B" in less than three months anyway. I'm glad I ordered them when I was ordering up decals for our new car.

BTW I got a treat in store for the drivers of our car in the upcoming enduro. Stay tuned. Well it's a treat plus their going to have more horsepower than our car! Don't try to rub it in over the radio too much while were chasing you down the straights!

Wish Ryogi could be with us in ITB next season. He would be faster in ITB with his 924 than in ITS with his 944. Dude you got to put that hammer down at places like the Glen!

Ryogi are you planning on running the final 944 Cup race at Summit in November?

LOL!

Another treat, looks like I may yet get additional sensors working for my data system... want to plug in and grab oil pressure, yaw rate, and longitudinal accel/decel... let you know how healthy your motor is and how well the drivers are doing... Not to mention additional warning lights! Probably run water temp and oil pressure for data and warnings, during the enduro...
