| Has anyone ever tried to modify the standard electric mirrors shape into something more shapy? more like the 968 cup mirrors. these are very hard to get as you know. mirrors from an audi TT would fit as far as i can tell. and i have seen some mirrors from a vw beetle that looked like cup mirrors, but i think they were manual. what can be made from the original ones? any thoughts??? |

you may be able to try and make a fiberglass piece which bolts on in place of the factory one, however you could also look at 928 GTS mirrors they are like the 968 except probably alittle easier to get from 928 intl however they will still be VERY expensive. _________________ 3 928s, |

I imported a set of Euro mirros a while back...they are a little better looking than the bulky US ones. These happen to be dual manual adjust.
Got them for >$40 with shipping too
You can find the 968 style on ebay every so often but they sell for like $250 or so if I recall _________________ MJ
