I've not bought from them but I did look at the website. If the product is anywhere near as good as it looks (vacuum molded, and all those colors), it is a great deal. And shipping was only $20 for me for ground. That puts you in new carpet in the color you want for well under $300, even if you upgrade to the neon .
I've seen procarparts on ebay for years now selling their carpet sets, mostly in black, for $300+shipping. To me, this seems better than that. |

Very promising source. I ordered samples of several colors to check out the pile.
Thanks for this post. _________________ MJ

I have a 80 924. the interior, dash and part of the door panels are dark brown. The rest of the door panel and carpet is a gold, tannish almost yellow color. What is the name of this color? I want to replace the carpet with the original color. _________________ 1980 Porsche 924

Kewpie go to the website and order some samples of what you think you would like to go with and then compare them. They are not going to have the exact color. You would have to order the OEM German carpet to get the precise color.
More like $700 for the original carpet set molded like this. _________________ MJ

Well kewpie, if you find a matching replacement for the beige (goldish) carpets, let me know. I just want to replace the rear hatch area carpets, but the one's I ordered don't match the factory carpets at all. _________________ 1980 924 Turbo |

I received five different color samples, very quickly I must say. All were too dark, maybe I'll try five more. _________________ 1980 Porsche 924

Yeah, the set I have is too dark also, not gold enough. And, I sent in a sample of the old carpet with my order. _________________ 1980 924 Turbo |

...is there any market on this Board for a used set of black interior carpeting (but in good shape for its age)? Last weekend I replaced my interior with some carpet that I managed to find from an '84 that was in fantastic shape, then cut and bound the pieces I didn't/couldn't buy.
What I have is the entire OEM carpet set from my '79 931, except for the vertical pieces on the outboard sides of the driver/passenger legs, and the sides of the center console. Sure, it needs a good shampooing, but it is 100% complete and does not have a single hole or tear. It would be a great <cheap> investment for someone who has an older car whose carpeting is torn, water damaged, threadbare or otherwise really in need of replacement, but can't/won't replace with a new dealership/aftermarket carpeting.
I'm not willing to just give it away, but if there is interest I can post other photos Monday morning...

Lift the rug in an area where it is hidden and you may notice that the rug is actually darker. The rugs fade. _________________ "Never let them see you sweat"
