Well guys, my original radio/casette player craped out on me. Anybody recommend a relatively inexpensive CD player that will fit the original location and operate the power antenna? _________________ 1980 924 Turbo |

Most CD units will fit and will have an automatic antenna lead.
You'll have to buy a mounting kit ($15?) |

this thread http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=12492 talks about a number of CD player head units..
i've installed a more upmarket one and it came with the installation bracket and fitted in fine (it was pretty snug though!).. they're pretty much a standard size from what i've gathered. _________________ it's funny, but when they said "Anything is Possible", that's exactly what they meant.... |

I don't think you need one for our cars, I used the metal bracket that came with my Blaupunkt head unit, even though it didn't want to, and mine was only about $120 shipped _________________ 1987 924S Guards Red

Well, I went with an Alpine 7816, that I purchased off of ebay for $15 US, including shipping. But, the led wasn't working, so I had to buy another face plate. I bought that off of ebay also, but it was $25 plus $10 shipping. So, I ended up with $50 in it, but it looks and works good. _________________ 1980 924 Turbo |
