You have the best looking car in this thread!
Very nice indeed. Could you list the specs for everyone? |

By spec, I assume you mean engine specs.... The engine is out of a 1967 corvette 327 with the "camel hump" heads. 1.94 intake. Ported and polished. Has comp cam, roller tip rockers on the valve train. The block was bored out to the max .60 over with new flat top pistons , rings bearings and such. 11:?:1 can't remember right now. Cloyes double timing chain. Has a Holly 670 strret avenger card with the Holly 850 cfm air cleaner.
Desk top dyno @ 346 hp and 330 ft/lbs of torque...but I think that is a bit generous!.....any thing over 300 will be PLENTY

| i heard or read somewhere that the chevy camel hump heads were performance heads machine to loose extra wieght , thats where the camel shape from . and there more sensitive to cooling problems . being thinner in places it warps/cracks easier than the stock heads . just a heads up ,so you know . |

If I were to do it agian....I would only go with an LT1 or a fuel injected 5.0. You could find a 5.0 just about anywhere....LT1' s are bit more scace and pricey. _________________ 1976 924

I'm not sure if I should supercharge and stroke the 924 to 2.3L , that would give around 250 HP ,or go with the ford all aluminum 4.6L 32 valve v8 from the 97 and newer lincolns . thats what fords putting into the mustang cobra's , with a supercharger of course . but the 4.6l is wider than most v8's because of the dual over head cams , so it might not fit ,or would require serious alterations . if I hit the lottery, I'll go with the latest version of the ford motor . 420 HP 5.0

they're not 5.0s anymore, they have been 4.6 since '96 except for the 2000 Cobra R _________________ 1987 924S Guards Red
