Thing is the parts car is a 944. What I'm thinking is, just buy it and take the fenders off of it so I have a wide body 931. How much work is it to swap fenders/front end/etc? I really like the look of it.

As for what mechanical parts will fit, I think you are limited to very few things. I hope you get a good deal. Do a search for body kits and include 944 in your search pattern.

the front fenders bolt on as does the bumper, however you will have to take the brackets for the chin spoiler and possibly weld them onto the 931 chassis,

in order to mount the rear flairs you will have to cut yes cut off the old 931 flairs and then weld on the 944 units which is abit of work, not only will you have to paint but trying to weld on that big of a body panel without getting warping is going to be tricky if you dont have enough experience
