Well, #1, those are not HID lights. Those a blue tinted, regular fillament bulbs. While the blue tint makes the light appear similar to that of a proper HID unit, the total lumens (amount of light actually produced) are less than a normal H4 Halogen bulb of comparable wattage. The blue tinted bulbs appear brighter however, because blue light increases glare and refraction dramatically which causes your eyes to perceive more light even though your vision is actually worsened.
As for fitting them, what did you expect when buying a cheap imitation pruduct? Hella offers a legitimate H4 conversion kit that uses the ECE beam pattern and is worlds better than the stock headlights without causing big problems for oncoming drivers. The Hella kit runs around $80 without bulbs. There is a reason for the price premium. The Hella kit is actually professionally engineered to put useable, non-glare-creating light where you need it.

Hi,
I think I comment on my problem equivocal. The glass of my headight had broked. I bought this item, but I cannot change this, because some part is missing. I looked Hella's headlight, on that the parts are missing too.
Imagine the headlight. There is a rigid frame around the headlight. To the rigid frame I can fix the headlight by 3 hold-down nut. The 3 nut must be on the headlights (around). One of them is fixes the headligts stably. Another 2 hold-down nut works like regulation nut . The headlight you can fix by male screw to this rigid frame with help of these hold-down nut.
So, the 3 hold-down nut is missing! I can find the hold-down nuts on the old headlight but those are welded. It made by metal. The new is made by plasic. Yes I know It was cheap.
Can you help me?
Ps. The bulbs are normal H4 type. I use original hungarian bulbs, those works fine!

If I understand correctly you are saying the new headlight has no metal ring around it to attach it to the headlight bucket (frame)? The metal ring on the old headlight is supposed to pop off and be used on the new headlight. _________________ Glenn Neff
