it seems that in the not so distant future my car will need a new fuel accumulator.
I've found the price of 158,95 dollars in the Web page of Perfomance Products.
Is this a good price? do I have a better option?
It has to be send to my country (Argentina)
Thanks in advance for your advice _________________ Euro 924 1980 N/A

| I have one from a non-running '80 931 that doesn't leak. I haven't checked PET to see if they are interchangeable. If you're interested I find it. |

I recommend that you get a new one, the fuel accumulators in these cars when they are removed from the system or touched in any way seem to leak fairly soon after, even if they werent leaking before removal, and to make it cheaper, the VW rabits/golfs, Audi Fox, some Volvos, and Mercs all used the CIS and they all had Fuel accumulators as well, for a cheaper one try to find a VW one make sure it is close to the 40cc mark, and then get that, but you may need to get adapters as the threads may be different pitches or sizes _________________ 3 928s, |

Although his passion is DeLoreans, John has Bosch parts the fit our Porsches. Send him an e-mail and inquire about shipping costs, I know he ships world-wide.
Perhaps if you can get the Bosch number off of the accumulator, you can find an Argentine source for Bosch parts and they can fix you up cheaper than shipping from a North American source? _________________ '79 Eurospec 931 |

The number on my old 40cc accumulator is Bosch "0 438 170 024". It has 2 male fittings on top sized M14x1.5 _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."
