A few friends have KYB shocks, they're not the best, but they're definately an improvement over the OEM Boge shocks/struts. For the money, you can't beat them.
I'm concerned what they mean by "Except sport suspension". IIRC, the sport suspension option was the rear swaybar among other things, right? My car has a factory rear bar, does this mean they won't work, or are they talking about the M471 setup? If they are talking about the M471, I can't see why they struts wouldn't work... _________________ '81 931 in various states of assembly |

I think they mean if you had koni shocks as an OEM upgrade option.
I think these are replacement for OEM boge.
The price is right thats for sure. _________________ 1978 924 95 mile daily driver.

I tend to prefer OEM Sachs/Boge over KYB's. But, if you're not going to push them hard then KYB's should be fine.

| I used to have them on my 924 NA. I would steer clear of them. The fronts were good but the rears seemed to be valved for a much lighter car, maybe a golf etc. The back was very soft compared to the front and it got me into trouble quite a few times. |
