Yea its fine when I just idle though given any gas and it shoots up I can tell its putting out to much the lights get really bright and well my new battery hissies and the + lead to it gets a little warm.
what would that be the voltage regulator on the back of the alt.
this happend right after i replaced the alt belt that broke. Anybody lead me
to the light on this issue. Ill ask the alt repair shop also.
sure am glad I have an extra good alt. thats for sure. Later. _________________ 1979 porsche 924 Na

Voltage regulator would be cooked, but measure with a volt meter should be 13.6 _________________ 3 928s, |

Yea Joe, it is your voltage regulator. NAPA part # VR506. I think they run about $25 and icludes new brushes and holder. Easy to replace.
