I'm working on my son's '82 924. The RF fender has had numerous poor bondo jobs and I'm repairing the fender without bondo.

Looking at the photos, I have marked out a line using a black magic marker showing a location of a "bend" in the fender. I can't tell if this is supposed to be there or is the result of previous bad repairs. The LF fender is also bondo'ed to death so I can't tell by looking at the other side.

Would someone please take a peek at their 924 and advise if there is a crease/fold there or is the fender smooth?

Thanks in advance

I have good news for you. Outside of Pocono raceway in the junk yard going toward the track from 80 there is a nice 924 turbo. I spoke to him 3 years ago about buying it and he wanted 1500. I bought one right after that that is perfect.

There has been a brand new RF fender on Ebay for the last couple of weeks, for $75 bucks.

Thanks I'll check that out. BTW this fender is about 50% fixed. The LF is even worse. This is more of a project to metal shape and fix the fender than to replace it.

Thanks folks!
