Hey Guys!

I got one hell of a problem. Well i figured out why the car was overheating. A little hose has a hole in it, and is leaking water. Its somehow spiral shape with two openings that differ in size. Its located at the upper left of the engine close to the distributor cap. I need to find a replacement. From which car can i get such a hose? I cant find any hose that fits.

Ill try to post pics. Here is its # 477819.723Pxo1771 and the common VW and Audi logo next to it.

I hope that helps

Thanx In Advacnce

That's the "pigtail". I got one years ago from Performance here in the US. If I had trouble finding one here, I'd take it to the nearest auto parts store and ask if they have something close - same diameter and similar bends. They'll usually have a rack full of odd-shaped heater hoses. If no luck, try the next nearest place, etc.

That hose is only $8.25 FULL retail price from the dealer. Even if a parts store had to special order out of your country it couldn't be more than $20 to get the correct hose.

Thanx guys for all that info. But i would like to know, from which car (other than a porsche) can i get such a pipe or what car uses a similar pipe. When i say porsche, almost every one gets freaked, or increase the price of every thing he has by 20%

By the way, Lebanon isn't like USA or Europe. We have a heck of time trying to get parts for our baby. And we don't have these high quality shops. When ever something brakes down, we take it with us claming its a VW or audi part. And if we can't find anything, we go to the Car Junk Yard.
