Hello Everyone,

Here's the situation, when I got my car the center console gauges (oil pressure, clock, voltage) were missing, as was the wiring that connected these 3 gauges to the main wiring harness.

I now have all the gauges, but not the wiring that connects to them to the main wiring harness. Can someone help me with the following:

1. There is a plug on the main wiring harness that will activate all these guages, where is it? I am trying to find it after removing the entire center console, and I am having no luck. Where is it routed from? Where should I be looking?

2. Can someone post a picture of the plug on the main wiring harness that will activate all these guages? That way I will know it when I see it.

3. Can someone post a picture of the wiring that connected these 3 gauges to the main wiring harness? That way I know what I am looking for if I head out to a scrap yard.

All this refers to a late 1980 924 normally aspirated model. Apparently there was a change to this piece of wiring mid-way through the 1980 model year, so I really need help from someone with a late 80, 81 or 82 car.

Thanks,

Chrenan

There is a yard here with 4 scrapped 924s, so hopefully one of them has it. If not, there is a Porsche breaker in Toronto who can mail me one if I am able to figure out exactly what I need...
