Hi, a new member here from the UK. I drive a 1988 Alpine White 924S.

Can anyone confirm if 7" wide wheels fit on the front of a 924S? I'm thinking specifically of teledials and Design90's, not aftermarket stuff. Looking at the vehicle I think they'll stick out way to far, and http://www.cantonia.com/watercooler.html suggests that 7" wide rims were only ever fitted to the rear.

Is that true, or do you know otherwise?

many thanks.......... Phil

I think 7J wheels will be fine, providing you have the right offset - there's plenty of Porsche wheels that fit

- I have 16x7 993 Cup wheels on mine. I like the way they have sharpened up the handling compared to the 15x6 teledials (I'm keeping them for trackdays with some lower profile tyres)

Ed, what offset do you have on the 16x7's ? And do you need shims or spacers?

thanks ............ Phil

Don't know the offset, but they just went straight on - they are 2 sets of fronts (rears are 9J so won't fit)

afaik the offset is around 50
