Rear spoiler replacement problems

I've just swapped my aged looking 924 tailgate glass assembly with a 924S one, a nice easy swap until I came to replace the spoiler on the new one with one in better condition.

I have managed to remove the 2 side pieces easy enough but the larger rear section is screwed on and neither the replacement spoiler or the existing one will budge, with the screws not moving and suffering damage through force.

Has anyone got nay recommendations?
