|
|
Just replaced the water pump on my 1980 924 as per instructions in the Haynes manual, with no problem.
However, when I go to start it & bleed the cooling system it won't run.
The engine turns over, fires, runs for a couple of seconds & dies. It does this twice & the won't fire up again for 5 mins. or so.
Ran like a champ before the change!
Any suggestions as I'm totally baffled by this???
Thanks in advance

Did you by chance mess with the timing belt when you swapped out the pump? If you did, it is possible you changed the valve timing on reassembly. If not, it's back to the basics - Fuel, spark, air _________________ '79 Eurospec 931 |
