I took pics of the car the other day and just got a chance to post them.
sorry they're so small, i forgot to put the camera on the 1.3 mp setting.
Oh and the car isn't for sale anymore, i have to wipe that off:
Unfortunately, this car did have some issues with it:
Now while these look horrrrrrrrrrribly bad and well all be scarred for life
by looking at these, heres the real kicker: a little variable i have to throw
in cost wise when i get to fixing these things. take a look:
Notice the difference? Know what you're looking at?
Let me know what you guys think
(You can see why i was planning on repainting the car...)
oh and Porsche doesnt make steering wheel covers do they.. _________________ The TINMAN and his TINCAN

Very nice, post up some pics when you get a chance, I'd love to see. I've got a dual Weber DCOE 40 kit sitting in my basement waiting to get installed... _________________ 1987 951 - M193 Version for Japan |

I bet he hit other cars. Or more than likely his story will be "they hit him" |

well from the looks of it, looks like maybe a $500 car.
that door hinge mount is HORRID, I have welded more than a couple of those back on, but that repair is garbage. _________________ 3 928s, |

My garage got torn down in August, the new pad is poured, the new garage will be ready in early October. Once driving season is over here and the garage is done I'll take the 924 off the road and convert to carbs. _________________ 1987 951 - M193 Version for Japan |

That 924 is a twin to the 80 924 I owned for 17 years. Well, mine didn't have the body/hinge damage, the interior was in good condition and it had 8 spoke wheels. I sold it in running condition for $750 but that was four years ago. Does yours have the metal, gold anodized, Porsche 924 emblem on the right rear?

oww 750...
what emblem are you talking about? in the right rear are the numbers "924" (the originals are almost faded from sight. this guy had 924 in mailbox numbers on there) _________________ The TINMAN and his TINCAN

Mine had "Porsche 924" in raised metal letters on the right side below the hatch. All of the other 80's I've seen have the 924 decals. Also unique was the gold, double pinstripes that liteerally circled the car.
