Sorta kinda. From the cat back. You'll have to gin up a short section as the end of the cat and the beginning of the aft pipes are different.

Also can use a 924S or 944 aft section.

Other than VERY late 924s; the 924 muffler hangs from a bracket on the trans. The 924S and 944 use mounts from a shelf just above the rear valance. I hang the muffler from the valance.

The cat back will fit, all you need to do it cut off the flange and have it welded on.

And you'll need an adapter to go from 2" pipe (I think?) to the 2.5" turbo pipe.

Keep in mind that a turbo is typically considered to do about 1/3 of the muffling in the exhaust. So putting a turbo cat back on an NA will sound like you're only using 2/3 of an exhaust system. Not to mention 2.5" pipe is WAY too big and you'll likely end up loosing torque and not gain any high-rpm hp either.

No, it is not worth the trouble to try to install a 931/951 exhaust on a Series I (76-85) 924.

BUT, you can install the exhaust system from a 944 (82-87) on a Series I 924 and gain 8-10 hp.

This can be done fairly easily (with one new connection to fabricate).

Get the entire 944 exhaust system from the downpipe to the tailpipe (only two pieces: the 944 downpipe is welded to the catalytic convertor (on euro cars may be a resonator) and the 944 final muffler assembly).

Unbolt the 924 exhaust at the outlet flange for the downpipe. Remove the 924 exhaust system. Install the 944 exhaust system, Depending on the year of your 924, this will require some new exhaust hangers, and may be a new rear muffler "hoop" or muffler bracket (did you get all of the hanger with the 944 exhaust?).

Measure and cut the 944 downpipe/cat pipe to meet the 924 downpipe at the 924 downpipe outlet flange. Weld a replacement flange onto the 944 downpipe/cat inlet.

You will need to reset the 924's idle speed and idle mixture when you are done.

Just remember that you may not have a CAT as it wasn't law until around 1991.
