Two areas to look at: is the cold start injector working, and is the fuel system retaining pressure after engine shutdown (and continuing to hold that pressure over time)? Info should be in the FAQ on checking the cold-start injector, and the fuel pressure test procedure is in the Haynes, at very least. _________________ Vaughan Scott

I would suggest it could be fuel pressure when cold. I would start by checking the operation and output volume of the fuel pump, ensure the pump relay is working properaly and if both turn up okay. Check your fuel pressure, if it is leaking start blocking off lines and isolate the the source of the leak.
Really though, more information is need. Have you checked that your plugs and ensured you had a good spark while cranking? If your spark plugs are wet it could be gas or coolant coating them and preventing them from firing. |
