|
|
I just bought a 924 and I think it might be a Martini Rossi. The car's in kind of rough shape. The reason I think it's a martini is that it has the plaque on the center console, the goofy stripe which is compleatly faded, red and black interior, and white painted wheels. I was wonding if any one could prove it with the vin #. _________________ 1977 Martini Rossi 924 |

The Martinis do tend to fall into a VIN sequence, which you should be able to see by browsing the Register for '77. It certainly does sound like one. _________________ Vaughan Scott

well thanks for the help then. got a long project ahead. already put a tranny, hatch glass, and had to rework the wiring harness for the turnsignals and such. now i know this has been talked about before on this board but has anyone found someone to make the stripes because my car came from arizona and the paint and stripes are compleatly shot? _________________ 1977 Martini Rossi 924 |

Mikri184-had a very nice set of front and rear martini seats if you are interested email him. The red inserts usually fade very bad. They would be perfect if you want to restore. Andrew _________________ 1 of 100 Sebring M471's ( G-prod racecar)

The Martini was somewhat unique and migh make the car more desireable for some people. However from the pictures I have seen I think the carpet is damn ugly. _________________ 1981 924 NA

Thanks. I'll have to get ahold of him then because the seats that are in there are shot. Almost all of the red fabric that is where your but sitts is gone on both seats. Got the trusty ol' black sheepskins on her now. As i said the car is rust free but the arizona sun just killed the interior and paint. _________________ 1977 Martini Rossi 924 |
