Just got the car and only had it for 3 days. I can get it to start but can not get it to stay running. Have been reading some other subjects and that helped me runs some tests. Which help me find that everything is fine. Does the control piston in the fuel distributor have a spring and "O" ring (like in Haynes manual) or does mine just have a rod like what is in the car? Or am I missing pieces? |

The pressure relief valve has a spring and piston/with o ring on the end. If it didn't come out with the valve you will need to take off the access bolt at the side and use a wooden dowel to loosen them. There should have also been some shims/washers that are used to set the system pressure for your fuel system.
