No-wonder it was crashed. Look at the driver - he couldn't see over the dashboard.

My knowledge of German is really bad but 850 000 Deutch Marks in 2001 would be something close to the price for a new F40?

The phrase about 850,000 DM translates to something like "damage according to appraisals". Still, I'm sure the guy spent a fortune. (Sure wish I had a fortune like that to throw, um, er, ah, I mean drive around.)
