First, go to:
http://come.to/924.org
Click 'Engine'
Then 'Pullies'
You will notice the photo's with the pully. The yellow small pully at the very bottom of that page (also located here at the bottom of this post) is the same cast pully in the comparison picture--on that page. Just take that pully to a machine shop to fab it up. I could offer these things for sale for a price but it would be far cheaper to get them made up yourself (I'd have to charge around $100 if I spent $20 on one because I'd have to get it shipped to me ($10), then run it to the machine shop ($30), and time... so it's pro'lly best in your interest to just do the work yourself. Very easy

Well, get the one from Mirki and that'll be the right one for sure. The one in the photo is the style you want. That is stock from certain years-- but I am not sure what years. _________________ Classic British Sports Car Restoration v6 + v8 Engine Conversion Swaps

Why go to all the hassle. Why not just use the single groove pulley. Which can be found on 79 and later non a/c cars. By the way, I am in the process of manufacturing an aluminum pulley upgrade should be ready for market within 6 mos. _________________ Life is to short to be looking for something? |

the aluminum pulleys if they work out, won't be available until I have a set that I trust in race application, my friend is turning on his lathe. I am putting forth a few bucks to have this done. And if this pans out will take on the maufacturing of these and for the 2.5 liter motor as well. Also working on wheel adapters.
Hard to say on the price. But will try and keep it reasonable and of cousre board members will get the first shot _________________ Life is to short to be looking for something? |

I have a few pulley's
As for the aluminum ones, It is worth the try. a good stock of alloy can be made lighter, and the improvement in looks would be nice.
We all know the 924 needs all the help it can get _________________ Life is to short to be looking for something? |
