Not too bad. You do have to deal with the belts and cam housing and you have to be very attentive to getting it right.
I would plan on replacing the vacuum lines under the intake and the timing/balance shaft belts. Verify or replace the water pump.
When you pull the cam housing be careful and slide a piece of cardboard between the housing and the head to hold the lifters in. At ~$70 a pop you really don't want to drop em on the floor.
Getting to the cam housing bolts can be a bit of trouble if you don't have a long 6mm(IIRC) hex bit to get down through the holes in the cam housing to get to the bolts. Plan on ~$400-$600 to do it right. The head gasket set is only ~$100 and a long weekend at least. _________________ Glenn Neff
