ok here is an even better idea run a hose from your throttle body to your interior and just have a plug on it and when you want some boost plug in a CO2 cartridge more pressure than a tire no lag only downside is the bottles are so small.
or get a propane bottle and instead of filling it up with propain fill it with compressed air and just have a push valve inside the car and it will last for awhile plus hold about 100psi and just have an air regulator so you dont let 100 psi directly into your engine, only downside to fill up you would have to have an air compressor at home |

| NOS does way too much damage to an engine the sugestions i sudgested do what a turbo does but they arent constant |

Dear lord .
Now in my days as a crazy hotrodder, I have seen some incredible(completely lacking credibility) things, but this compressed air thing....
Why not mix a little pure oxygen into the tank? You'd get more power... How about hydrogen? It'll raise your octane rating

| teo, cbass, just collect the hot air from some of the blowhards on this post, and route that into your engine, and you will tear the tires off of your 924. |

| Hey, run a hose from the manifold to the bottem of the drivers seat. Then go eat beans... Be careful of the suction though!! |

The oxygen idea isn't bad. AN engine is just a pump, after all. Theoretically you COULD make an air car, running only on compressed air.

| yes you could run it on compressed air however it would have high revs but almost no torque |

This was done in France a while ago, but I never found out how it worked. It was a non combustion engine apparently...
Anyways, what we need here is an underwater barbecue... |

| The French project is now a commercial success. They market the cars at around $15K USD and their speeds and torque aren't too shabby. I'll look for the link. |

numbers,
routing that hot air into the engine will lead to early detonation, so I'll have to put a freezer on to the top of the car to cool that. Do you think it will hurt my drag coefficient? And if so, where can I find some aerodynamic ones? |

Ah, they attempt to shoot down the theory of zero emissions with the fuel needed to compress the air... Same problem with hydrogen, most fuel companies will tell you.
However, if you use hydroelectric power, it's not an issue, you just have to build the dams, which we have a lot of in Canada. This gives us great potential as a major hydrogen producer. |
