Holy bat*#@! Robin !!! They put your intake manifold on backwards!!!For the ones that don't know,,The ls1 manifolds work both ways.I don't think I've seen one backwards on a porsche swap though,I'll have to look at the albums on the V8 board again.got me curious, but seems like I would have remembered seeing one.......BTW.. everything looks tidy to me. _________________ 77.5 Porsche 924/4.9L cadillac swap

Thanks, yeah it all worked out great.
Drove the car today to work (sunny days!) and you KNOW there is an LS1 under the hood when you don't even have to go down a gear to pass up a slow group of vehicles....
Definitely worth everything to do this swap. Reliable, powerful, fun! I keep telling hitechmotorsport.com its an amazing car and so incredible to just drive down the road. _________________ Classic British Sports Car Restoration v6 + v8 Engine Conversion Swaps

Jon, quit being such a tease, c'mon man, tell us more about that setup! I've been contemplating a similar config on my UWB to match up with the 4-pot brembo 951 calipers I picked up not long ago...would love to know what unit you're running... _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Well, ask away and I can tell ya anything that I know - (I'll be gone next week though, so I may respond slow).
It's an LS1 with Hitech Stage 2 camshafts and some 4 speed auto in it. It's pretty sad that I don't know many details about it, but I didn't want to get too involved in anything. Let them cook the complete meal!

Jon, I was specifically asking about the booster delete setup. I'd like to run a booster delete in my 931 UWB project. I've only seen one other example, and I've been looking for a source, so I'm very curious what booster delete setup is being used in your car. Thx! _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |
