I expect to be able to generate some true 60-0 times once I head back out with the racecar, when my data acq system is onboard and operational. Or at least 60-30 or 80-40, since we tend not to stop completely when racing. Definitely will be generating some longitudinal and lateral g numbers! _________________ Vaughan Scott

I have an old Road & Track article from July '81 here that gives the 924 turbo (5 bolt wheels, 4 wheel disc brakes) a 60-0 distance of 153' and 80-0 of 269'.
R&T Sports & GT Cars articles from 1979 and 1982 give the 924na and Weissach versions (both with 4-bolt wheels) a 60-0 distance of 150' and 80-0 of 280' _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

Depends on the method of obtaining full stop from 60mph....
With the brakes, use the factory figures.
Rubbing paint with another car...probably a tad longer, but don't worry you'll get there.
Kissing a Mack truck at full speed...your new pair of angel-wings are getting their first use.... _________________ 1987 924S - Was a daily driver...now it's GONE! *sniff*

LOL!
Keep in mind those old numbers are on factory tires. New tires will give much better numbers, since tire technology is so much better. If only I felt like wiring up a fifth wheel from work and taking real numbers... _________________ Vaughan Scott
