Someone in California I think it was has already done this.I saw it on ebay about 6 months ago when I was looking for my ic.What it was is a tube about 1 foot long with gates at both ends. The unit itself took 3-5 minutes to cool down to just below freezing, like a little icebox. This box is put parallel beside the stock charge tube,in this case it was for a turbo charged Mustang, and when you need the extra HP you flick a switch in the cockpit and the gate moves so the air goes through the cooled box instead of the stock runner. It only lasts for 20-30 seconds before it heats up to much to be of any use. Then the gate switches back and the charge is routed back through the original runner alowing the box to cool down again. The unit looked well built but not practical for us due to size limitations. And they wanted $899 for it which is almost a much as a CGT top mounted that will give you power ALL the time. _________________ 1979 Euro 931, Olive
