my wife cares for a 16 year old where she works .when he was 15 his little gangster friends talked him into holding up a store . he got caught by the video cam . his first night in jail , contemplating 25 years of prison he beg his mom to get him out of jail , she said your gonna rot in jail before I come get you . he hung himself that night , guard found him just in time to leave him in a pesistant vegitative state , no voluntary movements . thankfully mine is not too bad , annoying at times , but overall a great kid . but I do know some evil ones

thank you Jesus

I heard that !!!
My son is a total pain in the butt, however he's so sweet and caring... hope he never changes. I feel quite lucky, even when he gives me time out.

They're not lucky red924, they're just spoilt! lol.

The PSX was bought by me for me when the initial big price drop came, the 2nd one was bought because the first went on the fritz (i fixed it the day after buying the replacement doh!)... Gamecube was the main xmas present between the 3 of them last year. One PC was again a xmas present, i built that for the eldest two, the other PC was built from spares after I upgraded my own... All the other consoles were either bought when they were being sold off cheap by the shops, or used because they wanted to play a specific game.

But hell yeah, they've more kit than i ever had! I had a ZX Spectrum when i was 12 (1982), that lasted me until I bought a used MegaDrive in 1993! Guess the big difference is, the way the world has changed, our kids don't play outside as much as I ever did.

he!! yeah! when i was growing up my mom was like "get outside its nice, and dont come in for anything unless you have to go to the bathroom or your going to be in your room" so i was outside all the time, and im glad to.

wbd and mrgtturbo:thats cool that you guys have cool kids, that a great reposne from good/responsible parenting, which probably means you guy are grt ppl yourself. I dont have any kids but it must be very hard for results like that. Bravo!

Not to nitpick, but it's amusing to me about the claim that "parents are smarter" and yet the grammar and spelling throughout the listing is absolutely horrendous....Maybe I'm just too asinine.
whew, I'm glad I'm not the only one that picked up on that! The one sentence in particular,

"I was to pick him up from the skating rink after it ended. Well he went home, while I was not there with his friend and they invited someone I do not know to the house while WE were not there. "

so I guess the parents weren't home? - and then

"Ask son who is play his beloved Play Station 2 if he has any thing he would like to tell us?"

This parent was pi$$ed when posting this item - so doubt. So many omissions, so many gramatical errors and so little time. I'd rather tell the story to my son then let him read this.

This is some scary stuff.
If that were my Dad I would start drinking too.
Dad, I'm too scared to tell you I broke your money-making bugle. You fly off the handle so easily.
Dad, I don't know the difference between a bottle of Old English 800 and a bottle of $120.00 champagne sorry.
Dad, why do you put a price tag on everything?
Dad, Why must you try to embarrass me-It makes me hate you even more.
Dad, Maybe if you paid more attention to me instead of gathering shekels on Ebay I may have not have to lied to you.
Dad was your father an asshole to you too.
Dad, remember I'm only 13 and should get more than 3 strikes before you try to ruin my life in public.
Dad, I hope you get a good feedback on my play station sale. Was it worth my loss of faith in you.

I found that amusing, and considering what I had to deal with, that kid got off lucky. My parents used to break/smash/rip up or throw away my stuff in front of me, and then make me work to pay THEM for it, even if it had been bought for me by some one else, or I bought it myself!

Thank god my boys are only 1 & 4 I still have lots of time to figure out how to punish them as teenagers .... Hopefully I won't have to ...... much, since I know it is inevitable.
