I'm a father of 3,(now grown adults) and I applaude good parenting, Way to go Dad, thats a lesson well learned. Ideally this will teach that brat and future episodes can be avoided.

I think they are quite justified....That kid sounds like a little $h1t.

I'll show it to MY kids, just as a warning. Lets see, they have 2 Playstations, a Mega Drive, an N64, a Dreamcast, a Gamecube and 2 computers....I'll make a fortune!

I'm with ya right there... I feel sorry for the dad... kid sounds like a poster child for retroactive abortion! The dad seems to be taking it very calmly... OTOH, that may be the problem, maybe the kid has needed many a good spanking... but he's probably too old and spoiled by now...

Yep, I sense military school is in his future!

Not to nitpick, but it's amusing to me about the claim that "parents are smarter" and yet the grammar and spelling throughout the listing is absolutely horrendous....Maybe I'm just too asinine.

Much better to try to reach him now with the sale of some stupid $100 "beloved" device, than have something happen later that could have been avoided by action now. I would not want to be in the position of being a parent or child, wishing I had "done" something sooner, and having to go to bail jr. out of jail, or attend court, or worse yet, identify a cherished loved one at the morgue.

Now is the time for them to make good choices to avoid all that. Sounds like Dad has taken the first step.

I wish them BOTH the best of luck.

Actually, the parent is very smart... typos dont sum up ones intelligence.. They are holding the child responsibile for his actions, and quite obviously, they had to go to some extreme measures to do so. I aplaud their creativity, and hope it has long lasting effects... Parents have to do what it takes to straighten kids out, no holds bared. if theyre allowed to continually screw up, their entire lives will be miserable as a result (not the parents, the kids, well, probably the parents too.)

In the same respect, the only reason why parent have to "straighten kids out" is bc they let their children be "crooked" in the first place. Parents are responsible for the childrens upbringing and actions, i definetly think they did a good thing, and its rather comical, but in better examination the father who posted sounded completely retarded when talking about "im not gonna tak this from a 13 yr old etc."

That just my take...

Anyone notice the shipping info?

{{{I do combine shipping on clothing only: First item full price on shipping. Second item half off shipping, third item and so on ..................... is free !}}}

I wonder if they plan to sell off all his clothes and make the little brat run around wrapped in a sheet all summer.

I'm sure the posting was as much part of the punishment as the disposal of the toy machine.

And in reality, how much do you think you can get, even on ebay, for a 13 year old brat? I certianly would not pay much for one.
