As I am looking at building a GT replica I wanted to know what the changes are from the 4 lug 924 to the full GT spec suspension and brakes.

I have noticed many of the parts are as used on the 924T and are listed as the optional M471 spec also.

Heres the information I have so far. Could anyone confirm/add/correct this?

Front:
Struts: Mcpherson struts with uprated springs (pt. no. 477.411.105.9) and dampers. Ride height set to -10mm over 924T spec
Antiroll/sway bar: 23mm (M471) as per 924T
Hubs: 5 lug 5x130 PCD
Mechanism: Floating calipers (M471) as per 924T
Disc/rotor: Unknown as yet

Rear:
Torsion bar: Ride height set to -15mm over 924T spec
Antiroll/sway bar: 16mm (part unknown)
Hubs: 5 lug 5x130 PCD
Mechanism: Floating calipers (M471) and internal handbrake shoes
Disc/rotor: Unknown as yet

Ancillaries:
Master cylinder: 19.05/23mm stepped
Brake booster: 9 inch (what is this part?)

Are these details correct? I'd like to emulate the GT setup on my '81 na 924 and I have made a start by purchasing the entire rear brake/suspension setup (minus sway bar) and complete front struts from a 924S.

Which bits are right, which do I still need and what cars were they fitted to?

I know its a biggie but if anyone knows its probably one of you guys!

I built a GT replica about 6 years ago.I just used early 944 front and rear hubs + the brake parts.I kept the original master cylinder. My car has 16" Fusch alloys from 911 turbo whitch bolt right on with the spacer at the rear.Front springs are 924 turbo and the rear was lowered by altering the cams on the rear swing arms. All the parts were an easy swap as the GT hubs/brakes are the same as 1983 944 and 924 turbo

Regards
Ian

The CGT brakes are absolutely identical to the early 944 brakes- including the MC and brake line routing.
