Has anyone here ever tried to modify there bumpers by removing the rubber pads and patching the holes? I think it'd look pretty cool. If anyone's done it i'd like to see some pics before I do it to mine _________________ 1988 Porsche 924S

Amazing!
I've long since pulled the bumperette pads on my 924, although I have yet to patch up the holes and paint the bumpers... _________________ '81 931 in various states of assembly |

i took the small rubber ones off my euro bumper and filled up the holes, gave it a nice clean look. as for the american style bumpers, might look a bit bare. _________________ 78 Dark met Green "THE 924" |

A na bumper is a bit bare though the license plate
fills it up a bit, I shaved the rear bumper too. now to
me it looks more bare than the front even though
theres a plate back there to. _________________ 1979 porsche 924 Na

| If you sink the rear bumper can you still put a rear valance on and still have it look good? I think the rear valance with the vents in it looks cool. |

I have done both and they look nice. Used fiberglass mat and bondo on the outside for a clean look. Look closely at my avatar and you will see a US bumper with the Euro rubbers. _________________ "Never let them see you sweat"
