Got an email from my wife, the crank scraper already came in! Evidently it must have already been on hand, not waiting to be made (as was mentioned possible in the auction).
Now that the crank scraper's arrived, she's issued orders to get out to the garage and clean that crank off ASAP!
I'll post some feedback when I get home and can check it out... _________________ Vaughan Scott

Checked it out, very nice, very quick shipping, much more stout than I expected. Also very impressed to see very complete and detailed (3 pages) of instructions for fitting, with pics of a 924 engine, not a Chevy V8!!! Very nice! _________________ Vaughan Scott

impressive, especially considering that gent seems to make them for a multitude of applications... customized directions alone tell me that that the manufacture has put a great deal of forethought into the application.. very cool!! ill probably order one once you report back on the instalation and have the engine up and running.. thanks for being a test mule _________________ Eric

$50 from www.crank-scrapers.com
I have to wait till around the end of the month for my parts to be back from the machine shop before I can fit it. Hoping to get to the first race end of June. _________________ Vaughan Scott

I did forget to mention in the email to you, yes, it came pretty quickly, I guess within a week? _________________ Vaughan Scott

| Great company to deal with! My crank scraper was bent in shipment by the gorillas with the USPS. A replacement was sent out immediately and arrived safely. Still dealing with the USPS on insurance - they are not a great company to deal with. |

THat's good to hear about getting to us asap! I need it asap. Every time we've set a deadline, we've amazingly surpassed it. We agreed to skip the next race in order to rebuild the new motor. Well I know that once the motor is out were going to get it done asap, like Gunnar Racing style.
