i was tightening my cd deck into the dash and now the cd deck wont turn on. it doesnt have power anymore. i checked the wires and they are hooked up properly. when i fiddle around with the wires, sometimes i hear a scatching sound from the rear speakers. any idea what happened?
im about to fix my odometer but im nervous. there is a sticker under the hood that says, "WARNING high voltage shock when working on ignition or tachometer system" should i have any reasons to fear being shocked?
it looks like the big black gear for my rear wiper isnt touching the motor gear. the teeth for both the black gear and the motor gears look fine. i turned the wiper motor on and its just running freely. how can i go about to have the two gears touch?
got my seat tightened
is it me or does the exhaust tone on the 924S sound sweet? _________________ 1988 924S |

The only way I can see for that to happen short of the case breaking is to lose the snap ring on the back side of the driven gear that holds it in place.
You will only have high voltages in there with the engine running. You should disconnect the battery before you go digging under the dash or you will let the magik smoke out. _________________ Glenn Neff

as you all know, my horn isnt working. ii turn the key so that all the electronincs would work. each time i press the horn button, there is a clicking sound coming from the fuse box area. does this mean my ground is ok but my fuse is blown or vice versa? _________________ 1988 924S |
