that is a strange clip, and I want to know what was happening before the clip starts.. if i'm seeing it correctly the yellow car was never going to make that corner, but the red car was going to spin anyway.. it lost control before the yellow one got to it!
or is that just intimidation factor? _________________ it's funny, but when they said "Anything is Possible", that's exactly what they meant.... |

The red car lost control braking to avoid hitting the yellow which simply missed the corner or had a serious problem (no brakes?).
The most amazing thing to me is how long it took the old geezer with the camera to move _________________ -Stu

The red 911 lifted in a corner to avoid the yellow 911.
If you're under steering in a 911 (like the red 911) never lift the throttle. BTDT (IN A 912)

Funny how we all look for different things!
I was pleased to see how fast the yellow flag was up (alas, it should have been stationary!). The fireman goes from standing behind his truck, to hiding, to in the cab - just in the duration of the clip.
The photog NEVER should be sitting. He should have been standing ground-level behind the berm, which would have put him at the same eye-level. It takes too long to move from a sitting position. And I will disagree that he should have even been allowed there, particularly without an assistant to watch traffic for him. |

It's something to tell his grand kids. Although he looks old enough for his grandkids to be out there racing.
funny though, i'd love to know what was going through his mind. _________________ 1982 Porsche nine two four with Carrera GT conversion - people think i'm slow cos it's an X plate!!

Ol' guy says to self, "Well it's been a good and full life...might as well go doing something I love." Then he remembers, "Oh no, I ordered 5 boxes of peanut butter Girl Scout cookies just the other day.. and paid for them in advance. I'm outta here!" _________________ "..it's made in Germany.
