| After hard accelerating, when I lift off the pedal there is an very rattley noise. Is this normal, as I have had cosworth turbo's etc and never experienced a noise quite like it.?? |

figured it was from that area, not too big a job if that is the case.
Bloody annoying though..nice whistle under acceleration..then lift off...rattle chatter rattle...bit rubbish sounding!
Will deal with the problem when I can get hold of some 8mm studs to replace the missing ones! |

It could also be the timing belt cover (if installed) rattling against the pulleys when the engine shifts. BTDT

| The guy who had the car before me said he'd recently fitted a new wastegate, so he may have left a few things loose I guess. After all, he didn't bother to replace the missing exhaust studs so maybe his workmanship was not up to scratch. |
