I'm looking for the part number for the bushing in the steering column that goes under the ignition cylinder block. My steering wheel has a lot of play and I checked to see if that bushing was there and all I found were some scraps of old plastic. _________________ -'87 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L 6" of lift 33" Super Swampers

Danny:
I think you mean part number 171 419 341, Column Thrust Ring.
The pet calls it something else and it's really hard to 'see' it in the illustration. I just bought 2 of em up at Tischer. A big $1 apiece or something. (Sorry, they are both installed).

It's part 12A on that diagram, they call it a support ring but it matches up with that number that you gave John. Thanks for the help guys. _________________ -'87 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L 6" of lift 33" Super Swampers
