Oh, no! :-O
Your chariot far surpasses my own, sir! I concede. Very nicely done.
I have a long way to go ... When I bought the car (eBayMotors), I was blinded by the reality of owning my own - dreamt of it since the age of 12.
Then, I was slapped by the reality of owning my own! I bought it to renovate, and BOY OH BOY!!!! that's what I'll be doing.
Stay tuned for the dig and pix; it's not pretty. --- Peace.

Please don't apologize ... I sensed no "assininity". I believe one of the problems with humanity today is the lack of trust that what one says might actually be their truest expression.
So, bite me!
Now that's a joke ... you're too far away.

Man, i have enjoyed interacting and conversing with everyone on the list (so far), and you are no exception.
"Laugh at yourself and the world enjoys laughing with you; laugh at your brother (mankind) and you laugh alone." --- me.
Sure, I've got specs and numbers ... here's what I sent out a while back:
http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=7887
I've got a lot of rust with which to contend (surface and deeper), so I really do have a lot of work to do. Your car is showroom, in comparison to mine - FACT.
It seems as though everything is cast iron (calipers, for example), and the rust monster is feeding. When finished, I will have probably rebuilt the car from the block up. I'm an engine guy from way back, so the most out of pocket will be because of the body.
Hmmm -- Cool Features, huh? Well, I bought the car off of eBay approx. 1.5 yrs. ago for $4K, but my Mom gave me the money back as a b-day gift. I may be (in the 40 year old range), but I'll still take a gift like that from my Mom or anyone else, for that matter.
Thx for any assistance.

My car has its slight problems too. It has very small, hard to see swirl marks from the PO from his crappy washing habits. And there are two small very tiny pin holes in the hood and front left fender. So I have to check those things out. And I'm still searching for 2 front black leather seats. And I have to mold wood around the gear shifter and re-do my rims or by new {depending, if I go to the 5 bolt upgrade with all wheel disc brakes}. So I'm always busy perfecting and snooping anything I can think of.
Take care. |

Thank you Lizard I was gonna try a rubbing compound or some damn thing, but what is a cut wax? Is it like cutting one at work? In front of co-workers and having them leave the room? Or cutting one in bed and having the chick leave? |

a cut wax does just what the name says cut old wax off the paint the swirls are from poor wax jobs, so you use a cut wax to remove the old wax and then you lay fresh wax _________________ 3 928s, |

Those are a nice couple of GT's, they get my thumbs up
78Porsche924, I really like the way your car looks... I think with the bumpers moved in a little, and a nice set of wheels, it would look awesome! |
