Hot start valve were is it located does anyone have a pitcure of its location
I can't seem to get on to smoothie site any more to look at his car. 1982 924 turbo, also were is the WUR located.

The wur is located right under the coil next to the firewall. It is on the right of the head if looking at the car from the front. It is a little box that has a fuel line going to and away from it and has an electrical connector going to it. And no clue about the hot start valve. I know the cold start valve is in the throttle body on the firewall side.

See if this helps. The photo if from my 931 and has the throttle body, coil and a bunch of other stuff removed, but the N/A will be pretty much the same as far as location and what the things look like.

Click on the photo for a larger image, annotated with the WUR (two fuel lines going to it) and the cold start injector (blue electrical connector).

Thanks for the pitcure and the info, but doesn't this car have a hot start valve located some were behind the head????????

you are thinking of the thermo time switch maybe, check the haynes manual it gives you a good description
