Just need a verification on the original paint. the paint code is
"Oktan min. 91 ROZ/RON"
This is what is on the sticker. I don't know if those are O's or 0's after the R's. The car is white and I have seen the color Alpine White under some other posts, but just need verification.
Hope I am looking at the right sticker. 1980 porsche 931
Thanks, Andrew |

| nope, that's not the correct sticker, that is the octane requirement sticker. On my 1980 931, the sticker is under the hood, on the hump next to the heater fan inlet. |

Now that made me feel real bright. Oh well. Now I know what that sticker is for. Thanks Alex. The only problem is I looked where you said and I only found a portion of the sticker. It is mostly worn off, but I can make out, what seems under another line that was worn off the #'s and letters:
"ALD 630"
Hopefully this is definitely the right sticker. Unfortunately that was all that was left of the sticker that wore off. Can anyone check to see if any paint code looks like it might match the partial code or info above. I would really appreciate the help. The code sticker in the trunk next to the spare is missing and I don't have any factory manuals yet.
Thanks for the help

Check here: http://924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=5944&sid=1aeb1b2936dabf4c32f0d962621bf8ca
It should be 4 characters long - 2 letters, 1 number, then 1 letter
or 1 letter, 2 numbers, then 1 letter.
On some cars the paint code is in the spare tire well. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

Finally. I looked more closely at the paint sticker and could make out the very bottom of the first 5 letters on the line above the other part I posted where the sticker wore off. I am pretty sure they are "alpin" so I am assuming that the color was Alpine White.
Thanks guys for the help,
