I am taking a trip to Perth, Australia soon. Are there any places there that are good sources for either new performance parts or used performance parts? Thanks.

Thanks, Peter. One specific question, are the engines in Australia the same as the Euro ones with the 9.3 CR pistons and hotter cam?

yes, they are Euro 125hp engines. Australia got the same cars and engines as the UK (right-hand drive, 9.3 compression and no emissions gear).

The ignition systems were "simpler" than most - my '79 still had points and no computer (actually a bonus 24 years later).

Where are you from?

Peter, thanks again for the info. Any idea of what I can expect to pay for a cam? Pistons? Actually, are these cams worth buying used, or do they wear down pretty badly like the US models? Anyone know?
