Just picked up my new rear Bilstein race shocks... way freakin' cool, very impressive, very stiff, it's gonna be a whole different beast when I get these on! I'm going to have to post some pics. Barely more than Konis, too, even after revalving to my specs. Part # on the box is B46-LTA5 valved to 400/140 (comp/rebound IIRC).

I also have previously rec'd the Racer's Edge rear spherical bearings, those will be going in, along with (finally) new front brakes (Brembo stock rotors, KFP Magnum pads) and a whole bunch of other regular maintenance type stuff.

Can't wait to get back out on track!!!

I reread the brake upgrade article in Nov2002
of porsche excellence..they were gonna use big reds on the front though they wont fit inside the 16'rims so it used brembos from[44turbo,968s,44S2s] outback and 928S4s upfront this upgrades the front disc from 11" to 12" and still allows for the 16" rims..Way to go Mr.

Maybe you didn't catch what I said... they're Brembos, but stock aftermarket rotors! Standard replacement. They just look really cool in the box!

Of course, a fellow competitor was there watching me load them into my 931... and he got real jealous... you see, I regularly pass him under braking - he was complaining that I don't need any more brakes! LOL

Sounds cool! I'd be curious to see how the bilsteine perform especially on a real bumpy surface.

We never see brake pad wear. Their amazing, they take a constant beating (stock metallic not KFP) and they look brand new after like six race weekends. Brake upgrade is the way to go!
