I have heard alot of talk on the discussion board changing hands or folding. This is my favorite Porsche site on the internet as it is the only one that I have seen strictly dealing with 924 models. I have a website that I am working on that is dedicated to 924 & 944 cars & I would be interested in hosting this site if no one else wants to do it. I want to keep it seperate from the 944 stuff as it gets over bearing at times trying to sort through the 2 models on Renn List. If anyone has any indo on what is goin to happen, I would love to hear from you. Thanks, Chris

Kris

I think the general consensus we arrived at was that we would keep control of the discussion board (rather than going to rennlist) and look at alternative software that is easier to administer.

I have put up three options at http://www.planb.net.au/924/ for everyones consideration. These are all open-source and quite light on server resources and require very little administering.

Take a look.

If we go for different software, one important thing will be loading all the postings into the new board so all that "wisdom" is not lost. Hopefully a simple job.

Yeah, all that is really up to be moved/changed is the discussion board; the rest of the site will stay put, but hopefully continue to be upgraded as I have time... should have more time now, taking a 2-month vacation from racing to catch up and recover my life... LOL
