Just spotted on Rennlist:
https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/classic-car-tyres/porsche/924.html
No affiliation etc etc... and this is a UK supplier, so... anyway, for those pursuing the stock/restoration path, these could be very helpful, more so than modern designs...
(Of course, here's me over here on a set of 17" Cup 2 wheels, pretty far off the reservation now, so oh well... LOL) _________________ Vaughan Scott

Thanks! I plan on using the Pirelli CN36 on my original wheels.
I bought tyres for my Healey from Longstone a few years back, got them pretty quick for less overall than the same Michelins domestically. That's not the case now as Tire Rack started carrying the Michelin Classic line and they have free shipping. Remember US customers do not pay VAT.
Just an FYI, the 185/70/14 Pirelli CN36 is available domestically from Lucas Vintage Tire in California for about the same price. _________________ 1977 Martini 924, 1985 Mercedes 300SD, 1956 Austin-Healey 100 |
