Think it’s that plug with 3 big wires right by the back of the head..
One is the exciter wire..




Pretty sure it’s this one with the red blue and yellow wire..

I think we've moved beyond a head installation thread, so I'm going to move any ongoing discussion of gauge wiring or charging circuit to a new thread, if necessary. I am considering my head installation completed. I drove it several miles today with no real problems...I do still have some part throttle driveability concerns, but I don't think that has anything to do with the head, and I did notice two instances of a backfire where I briefly seemed to lose power and heard a pop out the tailpipe, which is not something I've been noticing, so any thoughts on that let me know, but I suspect both of these issues to be tuning related, rather than new head related.

Yeah, part throttle driveability and backfire on decel definitely tuning related.

Never 100% got rid of mine until I went MS.

My electrical gremlins have not shown themselves since I replaced the alternator. Fingers crossed, knock on wood.
