Well i also have a very nice and full of character 931 that i enjoy as a sports car. I have the too fast for me 924, that red one....all I need is a confy easy to drive 924 for going to work and for days when I dont feel sharp enough for the 931 or the GTS wannabe.

I agree that 924 na is fast car, but I think on trackday 931 make a big difference.
The problem is reliability of this car. _________________ Porsche 924 2.0 na 125hp (1979) euro

I go to only two trackday in the year, on track more power is desirable out of corners, for increase driving experience. _________________ Porsche 924 2.0 na 125hp (1979) euro

or more precise balance of the car, more precise control so you can enter the corner at highers speeds and keep the speeds in the corners
Everybody is different but i get the most reward from achieving something with little resources not with vast resources at disposal. _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits

my resources, particularly for my hobby car, are very restricted, conversion to turbo of my car or tuning of engine is more expensive that sell my na and buy a turbo.
I like driving sportly, but I would like improve my skills on track and for this is necessary some needless power _________________ Porsche 924 2.0 na 125hp (1979) euro

Each to their own i guess but i think you can pick up driving skills better on an underpowered car.
To be honest, i miss driving my 90hp MK3 TDI Golf on KW V3s and D90 Porsche wheels. _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits

My whole 924 experience with the 78 n/a as been a reliability let down. I can't even get $1500 for it !?!?! I just want it gone so I can move on. The car just makes me made when ever I think about it. |

Yours was a car that was "rebuilt" by previous owners before you, each to their own low standard.
There are some things that cant be undone, like the factory rust protection. If some guy in the history of the car decided to strip the paint down and re-do it "properly" you can be sure that car will be a rust bucket from then on.
Thats why i think the least amount of work you do to your car the better.
Treat only whats actually the problem...no while i'm there stuff.
I have found out that cars that havent been "restored" are the most reliable. _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits

Went for a drive with some local guys. I had a great time and met a few new friends. Here's a short video I made with my dash cam footage.

Only a couple of things left for me to do.
1. move the seats from the 944 to the 924 (after fitting the race seats in the 944)
2. Take the 924 for its last run of the season
3. Wash it, wax it and wrap it for the winter.
I need to move somewhere warm all year round. _________________ Cheers;

My words of wisdom..
Reliability of your car is mostly a reflection of the mechanical skills of the owner (and sometimes the previous owners ).... _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

I installed the "blue" springs (as used on sports suspension 924 turbo and early 944s) on my 9234, this completes the replication of of the factory sports suspension set up on my 924 as best I can tell from the parts books, they are not much stiffer than the stock springs, but every little bit helps, will see how it does at the autocross this weekend. _________________ 88 924S
